The following entrepreneurial idea caught my attention. I am undecided whether to invest or not and would love to hear your thoughts.
"SRC is a company developing a new social media app, where users can upload tutorial or recipes aimed at giving a second life to objects they already own. Our company's goals are motivating people to reuse and avoiding waste, this way, we are going to give a small contribution of money to each customer who uploads posts on our app. These incentives would represent a part of the income we obtain through ads in our app.
Our target market includes a wide range of customers since anyone owning a mobile phone could use our app. However, youth would be the main target since they make more use of social media and are more comfortable using electronic devices. As other social media platforms, our marketing strategy will be focused on the digital area and the word-of-mouth strategy. We will make use of Tiktok and other social media to promote our app, show users how it works and encourage potential clients to download it in order to contribute to the environment.
Finally, our firm is going to be financed by the own company (asking for loans) and we are open to look for business angels or venture capital firms who would be interested in our idea."
